My name is Darby and I am the lead photographer {and ginger} behind ginger snaps. It's a pun...get it? I started this journey in 2016 and have grown my business into whatever I've desired it to be over the last four years. Flexibility in every season of life is an important and beautiful thing, and I am just a regular gal who is always striving to maintain balance in all things I put my hand to. I do have a full time teaching job and full time responsibilities to my God, my family, and my church. BUT I work hard to ensure my clients are well taken care of and feel like my priority as well. I also strive to show the love of Christ in all areas of life, and to treat people in a way that honors Him. Unapologetic authenticity and awkwardness are pretty much guaranteed in any given session with me. I try to keep it real and relaxed to help you feel as comfortable in front of that camera as possible. After all, the most beautiful images I deliver are genuine moments - ones that cannot be artificially manufactured, but only come from you being YOU. Whether you are searching for someone to photograph a wedding, a senior, a family, or a baby...you are really looking for someone to photograph love...your love.
